Panna Tiger Reserve is located in the Panna and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is known for its successful tiger reintroduction program after being declared tiger-less in 2009. The reserve is home to tigers, leopards, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Situated along the Ken River, the landscape features deep gorges, plateaus, and dry deciduous forests, offering a rich and diverse ecosystem. Panna is also famous for its Ken Gharial Sanctuary and nearby Pandav Falls, making it a blend of wildlife and natural beauty. In 2020, UNESCO recognized Panna as a Biosphere Reserve for its outstanding efforts in conservation and ecological restoration.
